Clear answers before you start

Frequently asked questions.

Understand how CTE Social works, what your plan includes, and what happens from signup to publishing.

Getting started

Understand the service.

What does CTE Social do?

CTE Social is a managed content preparation and scheduling service for local businesses. You provide approved photos and videos in Google Drive. CTE Social reviews the media, prepares captions and branded publishing copies, and schedules eligible content to your connected accounts through Publer. Your CTE Social app guides setup and gives you access to your client tools and protected guides.

What should I have ready before signing up?

Have your business details, logo and brand preferences, photos or videos you have permission to publish, a Google Drive folder you control, and access to the social accounts you intend to use. You will also need an email address you can access and a payment card for Checkout. Drive and social-account connections are completed during onboarding after payment.

Does publishing start as soon as I pay?

No. Payment starts onboarding. You complete your company profile, publishing preferences, Google Drive access, social-account connections, and the required verification and consent steps. CTE Social then completes the first activation and enables publishing. Payment confirmation and a ready-for-activation status do not publish posts by themselves.

How soon will my first post appear?

Timing depends on completing setup, verifying the intended accounts, providing usable approved media, and CTE Social completing activation. Your first publication then follows your saved schedule, content checks, and available allowance. An upload or activation does not guarantee a post the next day. If timing matters, ask us about your setup and first expected publication .

Does the service include paid advertising or guaranteed results?

The managed service prepares and schedules social content. Paid advertising is outside this service. Reach, engagement, leads, and sales depend on many factors and are not guaranteed. See the Terms of Service for the full scope.

Plans and platforms

Know what your plan includes.

What is included in each plan?

Presence: 12 managed photo posts per month across six supported networks, excluding YouTube. Growth: 16 photo posts and 4 videos per month, with all seven networks. Autopilot: 24 photo posts and 8 videos per month, with all seven networks. Every plan includes X and LinkedIn. Video publishing requires available video capacity and an eligible destination. Compare current plans and pricing .

Does publishing one item to several networks use several posts?

No. One managed photo item or video distributed to several eligible networks counts once toward the corresponding photo or video allowance. A multi-photo group is one managed photo post. Platform publication totals describe the separate destination copies; they do not increase your managed content allowance.

Do I have to connect every included network?

No. Select only the networks you intend to use. Each selected account must be connected and verified. Your plan price stays the same when you use fewer networks, and you can connect another included network later. Each subscription serves one brand or location and includes one account per included network; unused network slots cannot be exchanged for extra accounts elsewhere.

Do unused posts or paused days roll over?

Unused monthly content allowances and paused days do not roll over unless CTE Social agrees otherwise in writing. Keep approved media available and connections current so your publishing routine can use the allowance. See the Terms of Service .

Content and publishing

Know what happens to your media.

What platforms and media formats are supported?

The supported networks are Facebook, Instagram, Google Business Profile, TikTok, YouTube, X, and LinkedIn, subject to your plan and account eligibility. Google Business Profile receives photo updates; YouTube receives Shorts. Photos use JPG/JPEG, PNG, or WEBP sources. Feed-video sources may be 3 seconds to 3 minutes, with stricter destination requirements where applicable. Photo groups can contain up to 10 images; Google receives the first image and X receives up to the first four.

Can I choose my publishing days and times?

Yes. Set your photo and video publishing preferences using your company time zone in the app. CTE Social prepares feed posts one day before the selected publication day. Your saved schedule, media availability, account verification, content checks, and allowance determine whether a post can be prepared and scheduled. Follow the app if a change requires verification before publishing resumes.

Do I need to approve every post?

The activated workflow schedules approved source content according to your saved choices; it does not require a separate approval click for every post. Use your assigned Publer workspace to review upcoming posts and make allowed changes before they publish. A scheduled post publishes automatically unless it is changed or canceled; a draft is not the same as a scheduled post.

Can I edit posts or publish additional content myself?

Yes. Your assigned Publer Client access lets you manage posts for your assigned accounts within the permissions and tools available. Customer-created manual and RSS activity in Publer does not use the CTE Social managed-post allowance. The service includes up to three managed revision rounds per month; additional work may need a separate agreement.

Are Stories included?

Optional automatic Stories are available for eligible Facebook Pages and Instagram Business accounts. They use approved feed content and do not reduce the monthly photo or video allowance. Automatic video Stories must be 15 seconds or shorter. A longer feed video is not automatically clipped; its Story copy is held separately while the feed route follows its own eligibility checks.

What happens if content is held or a post fails?

Privacy concerns, unusable media, expired permissions, or platform restrictions can delay or prevent publication. Review the notice in your client area and the detailed publishing result in Publer. The protected library explains the next steps. If a result is unclear, contact CTE Social before creating another copy; a scheduling confirmation does not by itself prove the post is already live.

Accounts and privacy

Stay in control of your content.

Do I keep control of my social accounts?

Yes. Your business retains control of its accounts. You authorize connections through Publer and the providers’ own sign-in screens. Facebook managed publishing uses Pages; Instagram requires a Professional account, and direct Stories require a Business account. Posting depends on the permissions you grant and each provider’s rules.

Do I have to share my passwords?

No. Connect social accounts through the authorized sign-in flow rather than sending passwords to CTE Social. Never send passwords, recovery codes, payment-card numbers, or two-factor authentication codes through the contact form. You use your existing CTE Social login for your client area and protected library; Google Drive and Publer have their own sign-in processes.

What happens to my original files and private information?

Your original Google Drive media remains unchanged; branding and preparation are applied to publishing copies. Automated privacy checks help reduce risk, but they are not infallible. Only submit media you have permission to use, review your privacy choices, and keep confidential documents and sensitive information out of your publishing folders. See the Privacy Policy for data-handling details.

Billing and cancellation

Understand payment and renewal.

When am I charged, and does the plan renew automatically?

Stripe processes the initial card payment before onboarding. The recurring service period is anchored to controlled service activation. Monthly and annual plans renew automatically until canceled. Review the amount, interval, and recurring-charge authorization at Checkout. CTE Social does not store your complete card number.

Can I change my plan or buy additional capacity?

Log in and open Manage plan & add-ons to review the available choices, price, and effective date before confirming. Follow the app’s confirmation for when a change applies. A photo or video add-on changes capacity; it does not add excluded networks or extra social accounts. Contact CTE Social if your business needs a custom arrangement.

How do I cancel?

After activation, log in, open Manage plan & add-ons, and use the secure Stripe billing portal to cancel. Cancellation normally stops the next renewal, with service available until the end of the paid term. Check the effective date and confirmation. Before activation, or if the portal does not work, contact CTE Social for help. See the Cancellation Policy .

Can I receive a refund?

If you cancel after the initial Checkout but before controlled service activation, CTE Social closes onboarding and refunds the initial payment in full. After activation, subscription and add-on payments are ordinarily non-refundable, without standard prorated refunds for unused time or content. Confirmed billing errors and legally required remedies are handled under the Refund Policy . Contact us so we can verify your account and request.
